In 1953, Aston Martin introduced the DB2/4. Based on the DB2, the DB2/4 was offered with 2 engines over the course of production: a 2.6L straight six for earlier models, and a 3.0L straight six for later versions. Initially offered as a saloon or a drophead coupe, the DB2/4 saw a fixed head coupe added to the range when the model saw an update in 1955. Production of the DB2/4 continued until 1957, when the DB Mark III was introduced.
