Chevrolet Corvette - C6 (2005 to 2013)

The Chevrolet Corvette (C6) is the sixth generation of the Corvette sports car that was produced by Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 2005 to 2013 model years. It is the first Corvette with exposed headlamps since the 1962 model. A wide range of variants were built including the Base Model, ZHZ, 2007 Indy Pace Car, 2008 Indy Pace Car, Z06, ZR1, Grand Sport, and 427 Convertible. The C6 was typically availalbe in both convertible and semi-convertible body styles (commonly referred to as 'coupe'). High performance variants such as the Z06 were actual 'coupes' with a non-removable roof top panel. In addition to factory variants, noted tuners Callaway and Hennessey produced a range of offerings for the C6. As common with most Corvette generations, the C6 was used as the basis of a wide range of Custom creations, and it saw prominent use as a Race Car. When production of the C6 ended in 2013, it was replaced by the Seventh Generation Chevrolet Corvette (C7).
