The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport was a variant of the C7 Corvette that was introduced for the 2017 model year. The C7 Grand Sport was a mid-level variant placed between the C7 Stingray and the C7 Z06 that offered a more aggressive appearance and slightly improved performance. The Grand Sport was equipped with Chevrolet's 460hp 6.2L V8 LT1 engine, which sent drive to the rear wheels through a 7 speed manual or 8 speed automatic transmission. In addition to the standard, or Base Model, the Grand Sport also saw various special editions such as the Collector Edition and the Carbon 65 Edition. Production of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport ended in 2019 prior to the introduction of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette.
