The Peugeot 504 was a series of mid sized cars introduced in 1968. The 504 was offered as a sedan, station wagon, convertible, coupe, and two or four door pickup. Introduced as Peugeot's flagship, the 504 was offered with a range of gasoline and diesel inline four engines, as well as a 2.7L V6 option. Peugeot also raced the 504 in the World Rally Championship, winning a total of five events. Production of the Peugeot 504 ended in 1983, yet complete knockdown kit versions were sold in Africa and other parts of the world until 2006.
