This 1987 BMW 325i convertible is powered by a 2.5-liter M20 inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and finished in Cinnabar Red (138) with a Pearl Beige leather interior. It is equipped with a Pearl Beige soft top, fog lights, 14″ bottle cap wheels, air conditioning, front sport seats, rear bench upholstered in Pearl Beige leather, power windows, locks, side mirrors, fog lights, power radio antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. We acquired this 325i in 2021 and now shows 88,400 miles on a six-digit odometer (approximately 8,000 miles were added under our ownership), offered with an owner’s manual, supplementary literature, and a clean New York title in our (sellers) name. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and was factory rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Answers to Questions:

(1) Why are you selling the car?
Selling to purchase an SUV to hold hockey equipment. We drive the car often and it's a high quality 1986 E30 325i.

(2) The photos of the undercarriage appear to show no significant rust. Are there any rust issues elsewhere on the vehicle?
No rust issues we've noticed. (We hand wash the car of note.)

(3) Do all systems, switches, windows, and the like operate properly as designed?
Yes, we drive this car 30-40 miles a week from May to November. The driver's door key entry could use lubrication/attention in 2026.

(4) Does the AC work?
Yes, the AC blows cold and the heating systems works great as well. (We are unsure if the AC is still R12 or has it been converted to R134a.)

(5) Do you have a service history (receipts) for the vehicle?
We have not kept service records for the vehicle. Rear shocks and brake pads, brake lines, and flush were completed in 2024. Please drive the car to understand it's high value.

(6) Has the timing belt ever been replaced?
We have not replaced any belts. We purchased the car at 80,000 miles and assume belts we're done at 50,000 miles from previous ownership.

(7) Any cracks/tears in the dash, console or elsewhere not shown in the photos?
No cracks/tears we are aware of. This E30 325i is a high quality car that runs/drives excellent.

(8) Can the car be inspected on site, or presented to a local BMW shop for a PPI?
Yes, the car is garage kept and can be driven to a local BMW shop for PPI.
