Ford F-Series (1948 to 2026)

The Ford F-Series is a series of light- and medium-duty trucks (Classes 2–7) that have been marketed and manufactured by Ford Motor Company. In production since 1948, the F-Series includes full-size pickup trucks, chassis cab trucks, and commercial vehicles. It has been produced in 13 distinct generations. In 1999, during the 10th Generation, the lineup was separated into the F-Series, which continued with the F150 trucks, and the F-Series Super Duty, which began with a new platform for the more commercial oriented versions such as the F250 and F350. The Ford F-Series has been built in thirteen generations: 1st Gen (1948-1952), 2nd Gen (1953-1956), 3rd Gen (1957-1960), 4th Gen (1961-1966), 5th Gen (1967-1972), 6th Gen (1973-1979), 7th Gen (1980-1986), 8th Gen (1986-1991), 9th Gen (1992-1997), 10th Gen (1997-2004), 11th Gen (2004-2008), 12th Gen (2009-2014), 13th Gen (2015-2020), and 14th Gen (2021-).
