The Renault Vel Satis was a series of executive five door hatchbacks introduced in 2002. The Vel Satis was the follow up to the Renault Safrane and was fitted with inline four and V6 gasoline and diesel engines. For a large part of its production, the Vel Satis was considered to be Renault's flagship model. The Renault Vel Satis was built until 2009.
