BMW M3 Competition Package (ZCP) - SMG - E46 (2005 to 2006)

Starting for the 2005 model year, the E46 BMW M3 was offered with a Competition Package, which is also known as the ZCP. These cars were fitted with the same 338hp S54 engine as a standard M3, but featured many of the improvements that were offered on the BMW M3 CSL such as the quicker steering rack and stiffer springs. The Competition Package was offered with two transmissions, a 6 speed Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG), which is covered in this market, or a 6 Speed Manual. Production of the SMG equipped BMW M3 Competition Package ended in 2006.
