The 325Ci was a variant of the E46 BMW 3 Series that was introduced for the 2001 model year. The 325Ci was offered in coupe and convertible body styles, and was powered by BMW's M54B25 engine. This 2.5L inline six engine generated 184hp in North American specification (189hp in Euro spec), and sent its power to the rear wheels via manual and automatic transmission options. Production of the E46 325Ci lasted until 2006, although the model series would continue life in the next generation E90 BMW 3 Series.
