Porsche 911 Carrera Cup - 964 (1990 to 1994)

The Porsche 911 Carrera Cup was a variant of the Porsche 964 that was introduced for the 1990 model year. The Carrera Cup was a factory built race car created for the Porsche Carrera Cup series. It was only offered in a coupe body style, and was powered by a tuned version of Porsche's M64 engine. This 3.6L naturally aspirated flat six engine initially had an output of 261hp, but for 1993, power was increased to 271hp. This power drove the rear wheels through a 5 speed 'G50' manual transmission. Production of the 964 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup ended in 1994.
