The Dodge Diplomat was a series of mid-size cars introduced for the 1977 model year. Dodge had previously used the Diplomat name to designate two door hardtop models, before using it as a trim level on the Dodge Monaco. Starting in 1977, the Diplomat was offered as its own model, and was available in sedan, coupe, and station wagon body styles. Over the course of production one inline six (3.7L Slant Six), and two V8 (5.2L, 5.9L) engines were offered for the Dodge Diplomat, which ended production in 1989.
Q: When was the Dodge Diplomat produced?
A: The Dodge Diplomat was sold for model years 1977 to 1989.
