The Dodge First Series was a series of trucks introduced in 1921. The First Series is a common name for the initial line of trucks built by Dodge. These trucks were originally 1 1/2 ton versions built by the Graham Brothers on a Dodge chassis. These trucks were sold at Dodge dealerships before finally acquiring Graham Brothers in 1925. In 1929, shortly after Dodge had been purchased by Chrysler, a 1/2 ton pickup was introduced. Over the course of production, the First Series was available with two inline six or one inline four engine options. The First Series was built until 1932, when it was replaced by the Dodge Second Series.
