BMW 530i - E34 (1989 to 1996)

BMW introduced the 530i variant of their E34 5 Series for the 1989 model year. Initially, BMW offered the 530i with their 185hp M30B30 3.0L inline six engine, but for the 1993 model year, they fit the 530i with their 215hp M60B30 V8 engine. Both manual and automatic transmissions were offered for this series of rear wheel drive cars, as well as sedan or touring wagon body styles. Production of the E34 530i ended in 1996, but the 530i would continue life in the next generation of 5 Series, as the E39 530i.
