The BMW 528i was a variant of the F10 5 Series that was introduced for the 2010 model year. The F10 528i was offered in sedan, touring (staton wagon), and fastback sedan (Gran Turismo) body styles. Initially these cars were powered by a 3.0L inline six engine, with different variations used in European cars versus other markets (European cars had 255hp while all others had 240hp). For the 2012 model year, these engines were replaced by a turbocharged 2.0L inline four with an output of 241hp. The F10 528i was available with manual or automatic transmission options, with drive being sent to the rear wheels. Production of the F10 BMW 528i ended in 2016, when the next generation G30 5 Series was introduced.
