Mercedes-Benz E - A124 Cabriolet(1991 to 1997)

Mercedes-Benz introduced their W124 based convertibles in 1991. These convertibles are known as the A124 range of cars. Although production of the A124 cabriolet started for the 1991 model year (1992 for North America), it was not officially known as an E-Class until 1993. The A124 was available with either an inline 4 or an inline 6 engine. Notable variants include the 300 CE Cabriolet and the E 320 Cabriolet. At the end of production of the A124 cabriolet in 1997, Mercedes changed the name of E-Class based convertibles to the CLK-Class.
