Mercedes-Benz introduced their W212 E-Class based cabriolets, the A207, for the 2010 model year. The A207 range of cars were the first E-Class cabriolets built after Mercedes discontinued the use of the CLK name for E-Class based convertibles. Notable variants included the E250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY, E350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, E200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY, E250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, E350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY, E400, E500 and E550. No AMG models were offered. The A207 was in production until 2017 when Mercedes introduced the A238 E-Class.
