Introduced for the 2007 model year, the 328i was a variant of the E90 BMW 3 Series. The 328i was offered in sedan (E90), station wagon (E91), coupe (E92), and convertible (E93) body styles. These cars were powered by BMW's N52B30 engine, which was a 3.0L inline six engine that generated 228hp. This engine sent drive to the rear wheels via manual or automatic transmission options, although an all-wheel drive version known as the 328xi was also sold. Production of the E90 328i lasted until 2013, although the model series continued life in the next generation F30 BMW 3 Series.
