The 330i was a variant of the E90 BMW 3 Series. Introduced for the 2005 model year, the 330i was offered in sedan (E90), station wagon (E91), coupe (E92), and convertible (E93). These cars were powered by BMW's N52B30 engine. This 3.0L inline six generated 255hp and was used until 2008, when a technical update saw a more powerful version of the N52B30 used, this time generating 268hp. These engines sent their power through manual or automatic transmissions to drive the rear wheels, although an all-wheel drive variant known as the 330xi was also sold. Production of the E90 330i ended in 2013, although the model series would continue life in the next generation F30 BMW 3 Series.
