BMW 320is - E21 (1980 to 1983)

The 320is was a variant of the E21 BMW 3 Series that was introduced in North America for the 1980 model year. The 320is was largely a 320i, but equipped with a sport package. The sport package included a front air dam, Recaro seats, and a bespoke leather steering wheel, but most importantly, it included upgraded suspension and a limited-slip differential alongside front and rear roll bars. Notably, the 320is was equipped with the same 1.8L inline four engine as available on the 320i. This 101hp engine was paired with a 5 speed manual transmission that sent drive to the rear wheels. Production of the BMW 320is ended in 1983.
