The BMW 328d was a diesel powered variant of the F30 3 Series that was introduced for the 2014 model year. The 328d was available in Sedan (F30), Wagon (F31), or Gran Turismo (F34) body styles, and was powered by a turbocharged 2.0L diesel inline four engine. This engine varied depending on the market, but power ranged from 181hp to 188hp and torque from 280 lb ft to 295 lb ft. Power from the engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic transmission. Production of the F30 328d lasted until 2019, when BMW introduced the next generation G20 3 Series.
